Medtronic Lawsuit, Medtronic Lawyer

Medtronic is the country's largest producer of implantable defibrillators. They have stopped selling their devices due to a possible defect that can lead to electric shock or death. This defect was originally publicized by the New York Times.

The defect stems from the electrical leads which are one part of the 3-part system. The system consists of the defibrillator (a small metal case with electronic devices and batteries), the leads (sensors that extend into the heart to determine if there is a heart arrhythmia), and the programmer which is kept at a hospital or clinic.
